Learn about View and Insert Menu items in Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word has a different menu. These include File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Tables, Windows, Help menu.
VIEW MENU (Alt + V) :
Normal : This option is used to view the file in the normal view.
Web Layout : This option is used to view the layout of the web page.
Print Layout : This option is used to get the view of the open file page as the view of the page you are getting when printing out.
Tool Bars : There are different toolbars in the document. This tool is used for any toolbar we want or don't want.
Ruler : This option is used for viewing or not wanting a ruler line in a document.
Header - Footer : In this file we can use the option to write the information on the page, below the heading or file.
Zoom : This is used to view the page view in different percentages.
INSERT MENU (Alt + I) :
Break : This option is used to insert a new page after writing only a few lines in the working page of the open document.
Page Number : This option is used to specify where the page number should be written in the document.
Date and Time : This option is used to enter the date and time in the working document.
Symbol : If you want to insert a symbol as required in the document, then the Symbol option containing the Insert menu is used.
Comment : This is useful for writing comments in any open document / file.
Caption : This is used to name any figure.
Picture : If you want to insert any picture in the open document, then option is given for drawing in the Insert menu.
